Hi, when I try to add new camera, it's failed.
My camera supports ONVIF H265/H264.
Please help.
There is another possibility, users failed to add their IP cams.
That their IP cams could be on internet, and their routers close Ping functions.
Therefore, GVD NVR will fail to add these IP cams.
The solution is to open Ping function on these routers.
Also, if your IP cams are old, not support right ONVIF version, then pls
using RTSP protocol to add your old IP cams
Hi,
If you failed to add your ONVIF cameras, there are few things, can help
Ping your IP cams from your NVR server, if you failed to pin your cams, then no way you can add your cams
Using ONVIF Tool: “Device Manager”, which it can be downloaded from ONVIF website
Refer to GVD Professor YouTube: “Using ONVIF “Device Manager” to Confirm Your IP Cam”
From Device Manager, you will have a lot of useful information:
- ONVIF compatibility See your live video from your IP cam
- RTSP URL, which you need for your RTSP connectivity if needed
- Your IP cam video port, diff venders may diff ports
Finally, you can also open your browser to access your IP cams to ensure, and reconfirm all configurations.
Then you can go back to your GVD NVR Server to continue your IP cams adding.
